At Gitando.all the MITA – International Meeting of Accessible Tourism -

Considering the next edition of Expo 2015 in Milan, dedicated to the great theme of Food, at Gitando.all also the MITA - International Meeting on Accessible Tourism - want to align this event with a focus on the special needs related to the Food.

Friday, april 4^th 2014 during the 6^th edition of Gitando.all – Exhibition of Tourism and Tourism for All – at Vicenza Fair from April 3^rd al 6^th, will held the MITA – International Meeting on Accessible Tourism - entitled "Universal Food For All: a combination between physical accessibility and tourists' special needs" (Pav. 7.1 / Room 7.1.2b).

The event will be based around the theme of the specific food needs and on Universal Design, in line with the "Recommendation on accessible tourism" adopted by the World Tourism Organization in 2013: Accessibility must be present in the whole Tourism chain: from the destination management until Accommodation, Food service and conventions in order to allow visitors to freely establish where to spend their holidays and be properly welcomed in our territories.

Veneto Region, in collaboration with United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), European Network For Accessible Tourism (ENAT) and Village for all-V4A^® (International Quality Brand Hospitality for all), support this important event will be attended by many representatives of the institutions of the European Commission and internationals.
